I want to honour the women and men who have made the courageous decision to consciously change. Those who have chosen to embark on deep transformational coaching sessionsto unlock their inner wisdom and evolve towards being more themselves.
C.G. Jung said, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
Awareness is everything. In order to actually change the direction of your life, making the unconscious conscious (fundamental and huge step) requires consequent aligned and determined decisions and actions.
Deciding to leave behind something that is holding you back, that is keeping you from your dreams or from living a life more deserving of who you are, seems like a logical and easy choice.
We would think, once I know what is holding me back, I will get rid of it. Right?
However, it is not that simple. Being really willing, open and available to move from the comfort of the known (however painful) to the unknown, takes courage. It takes an honest decision to want to pivot towards a different path. And this is what I’m honouring today. The determination and commitment that I saw during the coaching sessions I lead in 2020
Instant change is possible. I’ve seen it happen. I didn’t believe it possible. I thought change took constant effort and time. Now I know that was my own limiting belief.
Even in the challenging 2020, I witnessed men and women unblocking deeply rooted limiting beliefs and, consequently, having instant, progressive and sustainable transformations.
“When fear ceases to scare you, it cannot stay”. G. Zukav
Once you decide you are willing, however terrifying it may seem, you will find the way. You will allow yourself to take that first step towards being a you that is not held back by that block or limitation. You will stop justifying its existence, you will stop feeding its energy, you will look it in the eye and say: this is it!
It takes courage to enter our lives consciously and move towards more authentic versions of who we are.
It takes courage to give us the chance to feel worthy of something greater.
It takes courage to decide to come to a coaching session with the true willingness to peel the layers and shields that have grown along our life’s journey.
In the last few months, I’ve facilitated coaching sessions for very inspiring courageous people who have had the bravery of going deep and making the conscious decision to let go. They’ve faced their deepest pain, remembered moments when they were broken, confronted the fear of not ever wanting to feel the agony of being torn apart again. I’ve seen them traverse their shadow and darkness to reconnect with their inner strength, with a pulling vision of a lighter, more joyful life.
I’m writing this because I feel grateful and inspired by them. In the coaching sessions, I can only facilitate change as fast and as deep as my clients are willing to shift. I have the tools to lead the way of dissolving what is holding them back, but I can’t make the decision for them. I can hold space for them, ignite their power and uncover their own answers, but it takes their courage to come forward.
I bow in humble reverence to the souls that these past days have shown me that courage. I bow to those of you, who have found a spark of life even when what you desire appeared far from possible. I bow to the strength of the phoenix within you.
Thank you for proving me that, though fearmay not vanish immediately, it will disintegrate through courageous participation.
Thank you for being an example of instant change.
Thank you for showing up for yourselves. For pivoting towards something greater.
Thank you for illuminating the way to confirm that instant change is possible!
